Auto Racing and Austin, Texas, initially did not seem like a good fit to many. But Formula 1, like Austin, is unique, attracting the best engineers and drivers and incorporating highly advanced technologies. And when the F-1 circus came to town, downtown Austin took part with a Formula-1 themed party atmosphere that encompassed about 5 square blocks of the restaurant-bar district.
