Twenty-five years had passed since the first major rebuild and in 2012 there were numerous things about the chassis that needed restoring and improving.
At the completion of the first rebuild in 1987, I foolishly did not put a coat of paint on the newly modified frame. It went back together with just a couple coats of red oxide primer.
